Many of you asked how this fabulous display was created so we thought we would show how you can make one too! Julie Woolston used the original project from Jo McKelvey to create this fabulous display for you! Have fun making one too!
Step 1: Print out 6 Suitcase Templates and Accessories sheets from CD 2.
Step 2: Cut the suitcase templates out and score.
Step 3: Put double sided tape / tacky glue on the flaps of 4 suitcases and make the suitcase up.
Step 4: With the remaining suitcases cut as show below so you have two pieces like the one on the right.
Step 5: Tape / glue together the two back flaps so they look like this
Step 6: Cut a piece of Centura Pearl card 13cm x 12cm and score 1cm x four 2 ½ cm x1 cm, add double sided tape to the outside flaps and place into the bottom of the suitcase. Print embellishments from CD 1 and decorate the inside of the suitcase.
Step 7: Stamp your image onto Neenah card using the Memento ink pad and colour with Spectrum Noir Markers. (IG1, IG2, IG3, TN, TN2, TN4, TN6, TN7, TNFS, TN2, TN5, TN7, TN9, IG6, IG10 and IG8) when finished add to your embellished suitcase.
Step 8: Make the base for your display. Cut a piece of Centura Pearl card mirri card and a piece paper from the paper pad of your choice 25cm x 17cm, reducing the size 3cm per layer. Finally add the lace around the outside.
Step 9: Using Tacky glue, adhere the suitcases to the base.
