If you’re falling into either of these groups, don’t panic! We’ve put together this list of last minute crafting Christmas gift ideas to help you!

If you’re in the UK, you’re last day for guaranteed delivery before Christmas is tomorrow (Friday 20th December 2019) – just make sure you select DPD Express at the checkout!

1. Build a personalised sewing kit

If you’ve got a loved one in your life who would love to start sewing, but isn’t sure where to start, why not build them a bespoke sewing kit? We’ve got a fantastic blog post that outlines nine essentials that you should have in a kit, but we can recommend picking up the beautiful Sara Signature Sew Retro Fabric Scissors, the 12″ x 9″ Self-Healing Cutting Mat and the Threaders Shape Creator.

This is the perfect idea for a needlecraft newbie and you can make the products you choose as beginner-friendly or as advanced as you like! Just make sure that they’re all useful – that’s the key to a good starter kit!

2. Crochet kits

We’ve got a ton of different crochet kits available on the website and each one contains everything that you need to make a whole host of adorable characters. Have a browse and see which one takes your fancy. With rhinos, monkeys, unicorns, seals and so many more, we can guarantee that there will be something that your recipient will love!

3. Cardmaking kits

In a similar vein to the crochet kits, we also have a load of cardmaking kits to help your recipient get started on their papercrafting journey. All of our kits contain the products needed to bring the card designs to life and include instructions to help you out. It’s the perfect gift idea if you’re really stuck on what to pick up! We recommend trying out one of our Monthly Craft Kits for a bit of variety.

4. A magazine subscription

If your recipient is quite ready to dip their toe fully into the world of crafting, why not buy them a magazine subscription? You can choose from our papercraft magazine, Crafter’s Inspiration, or our needlecraft magazine, Sew Inspired, and each quarter, a new magazine will land on their doorstep, complete with a mini craft kit. It’s a great idea to help introduce someone into the crafting fold!

5. The Ultimate Cardmaking Compendium

While there are a huge choice of cardmaking products on our website, there isn’t anything quite as ‘put together’ as our Ultimate Cardmaking Compendium. This box contains over 3,500 items, from dies to stamps, and from envelopes to embellishments – there’s a massive amount of bits and pieces to discover. The best bit is that they’ve all been designed to work together to help you produce beautiful cards!

6. A new machine

Help your loved one to complete their craft room with a brand new machine. We’ve got so many to choose from, like the Stitch Pro Sewing Machine for the sewists among us or the Gemini FOILPRESS for people who want to try out a new technique. We’ve also got the Gemini Mini for beginners in die-cutting, as well as a range of other die-cutting machines for all levels of ability. Have a browse and see which you think would best suit your loved one!

7. Spectrum Noir storage

If you’ve got an art and colouring fan in your life, they’re sure to need extra storage at some point, so help them be one step ahead by gifting them Spectrum Noir storage. Depending on their level of Spectrum Noir obsession, we’ve got a solution to suit them all, like the Universal Carry Bag for inkpads or markers, or the Black Pen Trays to help them organise their ever-growing stash.

8. Threaders Quilt-As-You-Go Fabrikits

Quilting is a hugely popular and fun craft that has been taking the world by storm for centuries, so give the gift of a quilting journey with the Threaders Quilt-As-You-Go Fabrikits! Each of these kits contains all you need to create a variety of home decor items and they’re perfect for sewists of all abilities.

9. An adhesive bundle

We know what you’re thinking – glue as a Christmas present? We know, it’s weird, but trust us! Every good craft room needs a solid stock of adhesives, whether it’s the craft room of a papercrafter or a needlecrafter. We’ve got a selection of fabric adhesive sprays that will always come in handy, like the Repositionable Stick & Spray or the Paper Pattern Spray. For papercrafters, there are tons of glues to choose from, but we particularly love the Extra Strong Permanent Glue Tape Pen and the Collall All Purpose Glue. Choose a few and put together a little hamper!

10. A tool bundle

Along the same lines as an adhesive bundle, why not put together a little papercraft tool bundle? There are tons of things you could put into this, so depending on your budget, you could go a little bit wild. Of course, there’s the standard scissors, cutting mats and scoring tools, but you could also top up their die stash or embossing folder collection. There’s so many possibilities!

We hope that this blog post has been helpful for all of you last minute dashers! We’ve tried to give a good spread across all of our craft areas, so we hope that you’ve managed to find a little bit of inspiration.
