Frequently Asked Questions
21  Why has my cutting plate marked off using dies?
It is normal for any die used to cut into your clear plate. Some dies will leave deeper marks than others due to the depth of the cutting edge.
Tip: Some people like to keep a spare cutting plate for embossing so marks do not transfer to your card.
22  When should I use my metal plate?
You will be able to cut most of your dies without the metal plate being used. Some of the more intricate dies may require the metal plate to be added but you may need to remove one of the other shims when doing this.
