Cut some shapes with the Threaders Shape Creator

The art of quilting and patchwork can produce some incredible projects with exquisite designs, but it can be a little bit daunting when figuring out how to cut precise shapes. There are so many different sizes and shapes that are described in patterns that it can be quite difficult to keep up or even translate the language into something that makes sense.
That’s where our amazing Threaders Shape Creator steps in! This is an innovative product that will help even the most experienced of sewists or quilters to achieve highly accurate cuts on their shapes, resulting in professional-looking projects. Let us tell you a bit more about it!
What is it?
The Threaders Shape Creator is a much-needed tool for any sewist! With cleverly designed cutting channels, this piece of equipment makes it so easy to cut bias strips, squares, rectangles, triangles and so much more!
How does it work?
The Shape Creator has been designed to be used alongside a rotary cutter and a cutting mat. Simply lay your cutting mat down, then add your fabric and position the Shape Creator on top, before using a rotary cutter to cut out your shapes. A standard sized rotary cutter will fit perfectly into the cutting slots, which will help guide the cutter to result in accurate shapes every time.
These cutting channels have been spaced at 1/2″ increments, however, there are 1/4″ dashed lines at the end of each Shape Creator, so this gives you the option to cut at 1/4″ increments if required.
What shapes can you cut?
Thanks to the straight cutting channels, the Shape Creator is perfect for cutting a variety of classic quilting shapes, like squares, rectangles, diamonds, triangles and even hexagons. But not only is this tool ideal for cutting shapes with straight edges, such as squares or rectangles, it’s also great for cutting circles. Each corner has been rounded in various sizes, so you produce circles from 1″ to 4″!

What else can it do?
While this product is incredibly useful for quilting and sewing, it’s also very handy for papercrafts. We always recommend using a separate rotary cutter for papercrafts, though, so that your blades don’t become blunt!
With printed instructions included on the tool, it’ll be so difficult to go wrong with the Shape Creator. You’ll be able to produce highly accurate and intricate shapes in no time at all, making your crafting experience much more enjoyable.
