There's a chill in the air and the days are growing shorter, which means it's time to turn your home into a cosy retreat. This quick and easy autumn bunting project will instantly add a snug vibe to your home whether you're decorating for a gathering or just embracing the changing seasons.
Here's what you'll need:
- Thanksgiving Collection 6” x 6” Paper Pad
- Scissors
- Twine
- Hole punch (or we used a corner punch!)
Step-by-step instructions:
- Choose your designs from the paper pad. We chose alternating pumpkin and plaid prints.
- Turn the first sheet over and measure halfway across the bottom. From the centre mark, measure two inches up and mark with a dot.
- Cut out your triangle to create the bunting shape, cutting from the bottom left corner to the dot, then the bottom right corner to the dot.
- Use the cut-out triangle as a guide and mark the dot on the rest of the papers. Cut out.
- Use a hole punch or corner punch to create a hole in each of the top corners.
- Cut your twine to the right length for the number of bunting flags you've made. Make sure to leave a little extra at each end to use for hanging.
- Carefully thread your bunting onto the twine, going front to back in the left corner, then back to front in the right. Repeat for each flag.
- Spread the flags out evenly and you’re done!
