Inspirational Tutorial: Create fun backgrounds with Aqua Markers

Have fun creating beautiful backgrounds for all your projects with the Spectrum Aqua markers! Designer Susanne shows you how easy it is in her step by step tutorial below. Have lots of fun creating lots of different backgrounds in different colours!

Directions:

Step one: Using  3 Spectrum Aqua markers, scribble over the glass mat using the large tipped end of the pens, randomly.

Step two: Using a spray bottle fill with water and spritz over the glass mat so the colours begin to blend together.

Step three: Take a piece of white card and place down onto the glass mat, so it soaks up the colours.

Step four: If the colours have not blended enough or there is a lot of white card still showing place card back down onto glass mat to soak up some more colour. You can even spritz the card again with water to make the colours blend even more.

Step five: Take a piece of cling film scrunch it up a little and place over the card and then leave to dry.

Step six: When card is dry peel off the cling film and you will have a lovely background to work with.
